Jen Martins, Luthier:

Jen Graduated from the Chicago School of Violin Making in 2012

Attended a number of University of New Hampshire Craftsmanship courses in the twenty-teens, and has studied with Lynn Hannings and George Rubino

Has attended Violin Society of America workshops for Double Bass, and Bow Restoration

Studied Double Bass repair and set-up in Chicago while attending Violin Making School

Has pursued additional information and shop visits with as many people as she has been able to and will continue to pursue information and knowledge.

Jen has a Bachelors Degree from Berklee College of Music. She studied Music Therapy and Music Education but did her practicum studies in Music Therapy.

Jen originally played viola. Currently her favored instruments are ones with frets that are easily taken for walks in the woods.
